<\/span><\/p>\n In a splashy debut, the Finnish company launches its Windows Phone-based Lumia handsets, along with the Asha line for emerging markets. Nokia could definitely use a hit product or two.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Nokia announced its first Windows Phone smartphones this week. The new devices will debut first in Europe and Asia. But how will they do in the U.S.? The jury remains out, but the handset company is showing just enough spunk to defend its global turf and maybe even innovate along the way. The overall shape and design of the phone reminds us somewhat of a stick of gum, and not in a bad way. Oh yes, and there’s also the gorgeous 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display.Can Nokia’s Lumia smartphones make it in the U.S.?<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n
